Since today was a half day, in the afternoon i was working on self peer and client evaluations. I started with self evaluation and I noticed something which is i realised my mistakes through evaluation as I stated them down. I sent an email to some students to evaluate my movie and some sent the evaluation I used some of them for client and the rest for peer because my client is a student who lives far from the Swahili culture, and I found someone who said not many people would do that sort of culture and so that person was a good client because she lives far from the Swahili culture. i learnt that when your fellow peers look at your work they can give feedback and tell you how to improve on.

Today miss gave us via students flash disks a peer evaluation form to evaluate our peers work in our group. It basically asked us whether the group member had done there work and some rankings sand whether you want to work with that group member or not. We had never done this type of peer evaluation before and therefore I understood that unless you evaluate your group members with thought you will not know how they have done in your group and whether you wantto work with them or not.

I had given the work to one of our group members to work on it on Wednesday because she said she had enough time to do the movie, but unfortunately she said that an anti virus kicked in and the work got saved at only 40 seconds. So we had to start all over again trying to incorporates into the pictures we had which was difficult in such a limited amount of time but we managed to work on it as a hard as possible and we finished it and published it. Next time two people in the group will take the work to do and it will be saved every one or two minutes and it will be saved in multiple locations for easy access when one gets lost.

Today in our group we recorded the voices of everybody in our group and one challenge we encountered is that there was quit a lot of noise in the background of people. one of our group members went outside to record her voice but there was still one group outside which you could hear the background noise in the recording. next time we will go to a quite place to record our voices.

Today was Sunday and so I researched for pictures for the movie as it was to go together with the voices and what we are saying.

Today miss told us that in order to get good marks for plan we must critically justify and evaluate and so we did the justification and evaluate the modifications. I did not know this and next time i will try to remember this in order to get good marks for plan criterion c.

Today in my group we started the first slide and planed on what to do. I figured out that we should record the voices then put pictures coordinating with  the voice.

Today I wrote the design justifications but i wrote them as a list which miss said is not the right thing to do so I changed it and wrote the design justifications in a paragraph.

Today I did the final designs neatly in my book and looked back at my investigation for the design specifications to use them in the designs.

Today I did a rough design of what I am going to do on a paper but it was too small and there where a lot of frames.

Today miss told us what to do in the design stage and what is required. She told us that we should draw a storyboard and it should be a sequence of frames and we should state what is going to be on the frame and how long it is going to stay on the screen. Each of us will do an individual design and then we will choose a final in our group.

Today I researched on the Swahili culture but i did not write it down. i discussed with my group on the research. we were given research questions by miss to use.

Today we were given out task sheet and the instructions. we had to discuss in our group of what community we want to do and what are the roles on our group. We were told that our plan is due on 19th  April 201.

Today we made a folder with all the stages in them and we changed all the word documents to A4 size. we researched on process journal and found two pages to copy in our process journal. we were then given our groups to work with in this project.
